Please plan to attend this important meeting discussing zebra mussels and invasive aquatic plants.

On September 20, the Board of Alderman has included a discussion item on their agenda regarding the on-going issues associated with zebra mussels and invasive aquatic plants.  Stephen Davis, LCRA Aquatic Biologist, has been invited to help lead a discussion and answer questions regarding these water quality issues.  Mr. Davis has extensive experience studying invasive aquatic species in Central Texas.

Several groups of Highland Haven waterfront property owners have been working together to mitigate the impact of zebra mussels and invasive aquatic plants in their specific area/channels by using licensed contractors.  Several of these property owners will be in attendance to report on their efforts and to help other property owners initiate their mitigation efforts.
