As a Highland Haven Property Owner you are automatically a member of the Highland Haven Property Owner Association (HHPOA) which is a separate entity from the City of Highland Haven. There are no dues or assessments. There are no paid employees. Volunteers in the community perform all work, including maintenance and mowing.

HHPOA is guided by a six member Board of Directors that is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining HHPOA properties for the benefit of members of the association.

The HHPOA has 40 covered and 41 uncovered trailer/RV spaces and 15 storage sheds available for rent by members at very reasonable rates. Association expenses are paid from the proceeds of these rentals and donations. (Rental Contract Link)

The Community Center is owned by the HHPOA and operated under a management agreement with the Highland Haven Ladies Club.  (Rental Contract Link)

The association also manages six parks, only one of which is fully developed (Dove Park). Use of the parks is restricted to members and their guests.  HHPOA Members, guests and renters must display their sticker on or valid guest pass in their vehicle when using the parks.  Resident stickers may be obtained from Noveleen Parker.  Guest passes may be purchased from any Board Member.

The HHPOA Board of Directors holds regular bi-monthly meetings on the second (2nd) Tuesday of April, June, October and December at 7 p.m. in the Community Center. Semi-annual membership meetings are at 7:00 p.m. on the second (2nd) Tuesday of February and August. You are encouraged to attend all meetings, especially the membership meetings where elections to the HHPOA Board are held and other business items, requiring a vote of the membership, are conducted.
