The City of Highland Haven as a new City Secretary! Jeff Lederer was sworn in by Municipal Judge, Don Adams, on Tuesday, July 29th at the Board of Aldermen Meeting. His first day on the job will be July 26th.

Jeff has a BS in Accounting, as well as an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. He has almost 30 years of comprehensive program development, leadership and management experience which will be of great benefit to our City.

The City Secretary responsibilities include support for the Board of Aldermen, Planning & Zoning Commission, as well as, assisting with finance, budget development, public information and public record management. Jeff’s experience includes working with governmental laws and regulations which will be beneficial for maintaining our compliance with State regulations and assisting with planning for our City’s future. His duties will also include directing City elections, serving as the Municipal Court Clerk and Notary Public.

Jeff and his wife Angie currently reside in Kingsland and have 6 adult children.
