March 13, 2020, Gov. Greg Abbott declared a State of Disaster in Texas due to COVID-19. The governor’s order said additional steps were necessary to prepare for, respond to, and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 to protect the health and welfare of Texans, and authorized the use of all available resources of state government and political subdivisions that aree reasonably necessary to cope with the disaster.
Consistent with the governor’s declaration and in accordance with Section 17 of the LCRA Land and Water Use Regualtions, certain LCRA Lands have been closed to ensure the safety and health of the public.
