Well owners who suspect their wells to have possible contamination due to recent flood events are encourage to discontinue use of the well for potable water and contact the Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District at 512-756-4900.  Shallow wells within granite formations and along bodies of water are most susceptible to contamination.  The District has resources available to assist well owners in water quality testing.
