A number of folks have been calling about the signal light construction at Hwy 1431 and Highland Drive.  The light is going to be a flashing amber light, not a full signal light.  This is a safety issue that Highland Haven has been requesting from TxDOT for several years.  Be sure to pass along your thanks to James Oakley, Burnet County Judge, Jim Luther, Burnet County Commissioner Pct. 1 and Cathy Kratz, TxDOT Area Engineer, who have been working to improve the safety at this intersection as well as others in Burnet County.
