LCRA to lower lakes LBJ and Marble Falls

LCRA will lower lakes LBJ and Marble Falls for about eight weeks beginning Dec. 30, 2018. The lake lowering will conclude about Feb. 23, 2019.

Lake LBJ will be lowered about 4 feet and Lake Marble Falls will be lowered about 7 feet to allow you and other property owners an opportunity remove debris, dredge and maintain or repair docks, retaining walls, and other infrastructure. All projects performed under LCRA’s lakewide permits must be registered with LCRA before work begins.

Visit lcra.org/lakelowerings for more information, including the project registration form, a news release and FAQs. If you have questions, please call LCRA Water Quality Protection at 512-578-2324.
